How best to install ceiling fans to achieve desired operation?

Upon entering my up-stairs master suite, there are two light switches to the left of the entry doorway. Switch #1 controls one ceiling light in the sitting area. Switch #2 controls the two ceiling lights in the sleeping area. This room stays warm all year, and I would like to install ceiling fans in this room. Is there any other method of controlling the operation of these fans other than (1) expensive rewiring (2) remote control, or (3) leaving the light switch to control the lights and the pull chain for the operation of the fan blades? This room is only for guest and has a window AC unit for additional cooling, which some people don't like AC, and I desire to get rid of the space gobbling floor fans. Thank you for any suggestions.
