put them along a pathway, or going along the side of the driveway
well not in the shade they need to recharge....people generally put them around garden/flower bed perimeters, line sidewalks, place them in potting containers. 30 is a lot! Don’t overkill on the lights so it becomes a distraction from the rest of your yard.
I love solar lights and have about 100 of them in my yard. You have so many options :) Solar lights work longer with direct sunlight, but they will work on partial and indirect sunlight as well - they just don't stay on quite as long. You can put them around the perimeter of your yard, you could put them close around your house, light up a walk way with them, you can attach them to your fence... good luck and I hope you love them.
