That's a pretty broad question. What is the space mostly used for? How many people are usually there? How big is it? Have you painted? I would love to help but it's hard to know where to start.

I’d shop around the house to see if you can use something you already have. Sometimes things just need to be moved around the house to give it a new fresh look. Also, are there items that you’re not using in a cabinet that you can add a fresh coat of paint?
It is a double-wide mobile home rental. We are installing beautiful wood floors and I want to put up canvas-type drapes with grommets hung higher than the top of the windows, since they are rather small. Am thinking of painting most walls gray but one in the living room light sage. We live on the outskirts of Phoenix so color tones used here are pastel desert tones. Also don't want to pay too much. The living room is bare! It will be unfurnished. Thanks.

Hi Charot, Sometimes it only takes some color. Colorful throw and pillows, a pretty vase full of mixed flowers, a colorful piece of artwork for you wall or even a patterned area rug could do the trick! If you are courageous, a bold accent wall would help too!
