Update for Ceiling Fan
I have changed the colors and style in my living room. I didn’t want to buy a new ceiling fan when the one I have works great but it didn’t exactly go with the new colors and style.
Dated reddish brown blades, standard bulb covers
Hard to see the color but it’s a reddish brown
I found this wall paper. It has a gray wood toned print. It is peel and stick and very inexpensive. I figured if I didn’t like it I wasn’t out that much $
I found these cage light covers on Amazon. They were black so I painted them silver gray
I wiped down the top, bottom and sides of the fan blades. You might be amazed at the amount of dust on the top of your fan blades.
This took a little balancing on a tall ladder but I traced the blade on the wall paper crawled down and then trimmed my pieces. I would say it would be smarter to take your blades off and then measure and trim on the ground. I didn’t want to risk messing with my really quiet ceiling fan. After I got one measured the other 4 were easy.
I ordered some clear vintage bulbs that I also ordered from Amazon and here’s the finished look
I think it looks good, the blades look like wood and it fits much better in my room.

I LOVE it! The cage fixtures bring it up to date. Now you have me looking at my ceiling fans 😊 Thanks for the inspiration.
