Lady Bug Bottle Cap Magnets
Looking for a cute upcycled craft for summer? This bottle cap craft is easy to make and functional as well! Use these DIY magnets to hold your kid's artwork on the fridge and show it off to friends and family.
Start with red spray paint and some old bottle caps. Try to find screw-off caps rather than the ones you need to remove with a bottle opener. The screw-off ones will be nice and flat on top!
Once your spray paint is dry, use a hot glue gun to attach a small magnet to the inside of the cap. Let harden for a few minutes.
Grab your permanent marker and draw on the body of the ladybug.
Add some googly eyes with the hot glue gun and they are ready to go! Head over to the blog and find more upcycled crafts to try!

This is a great project for my 10 year old granddaughter who loves to paint and LOVES placing google eyes! Also she is autistic but loves art! This will keep her busy for a while!

Those are really cute! : )
Do you have to be careful when using them so the little edges don't scratch the refrigerator surface..? Or...does the paint layer 'soften' the edges so it's not a worry..?
How cute. I love ladybugs. 🐞 Real in my garden or decorative on all kinds of projects. Thank you for sharing.
