POST CHALLENGE

This started out to be a quick and very simple picture Frame
I started by painting the whole frame in Burgundy Krylon spray paint. It was Matt finish 3 to 4 coats because it was a rough surface. I didn't want to sand it down so it would keep its primitive look. The frame is made of uneven slates.
Then I had to paint all the little accessories the I was putting onto the frame. I painted the stars in a mustard yellow, along with the word Memories. And the flower pot was partially painted with the same yellow. The rest of the flower pot was painted in Spruce Green. The frame was originally only going to have stars the word memories and the pipe berries. But then I got a little carried away as usual, and added the flower pot and the moss. I really wanted this frame to a one of a kind, and stand out.
This is the step where everything is painted. And I'm getting ready to start the process of arranging the accessories. I have decide where each piece is going to go. Now its a matter of gluing all the pieces onto the frame.

AND THE FINISHED PRODUCT ! The pieces are all glued on and I added a bonus to the frame. A Little Surprise for all to see, I drew the picture and the lettering by hand. I didn't know what I should put in the frame. I was undecided if I should put a photo or a saying of something silly. But what could be any more appropriate then ( HOMETALK ROCKS )
