Command hook challenge.
At first I didn't know what to do. I looked around my house to see where I could use the hooks in away to benefit me.
I realised I needed a notice board and
I thought I could use a cake rack to do this, and use hooks to hold this in place, but I couldn't find the rack.
I went in the garden to ask my husband if he had seen it( he makes bread) but he hadn't.
I spotted a flat wire structure tucked against a wall. So I used this.

Wire structure ready for spray painting.
I then I layed newspaper on the ground, and used spray paint in a sweeping motion. To spray the wire. I did two thin layers, drying between layers.
I also sprayed some curtain prongs that are used to make triple pleat headings on curtain's.

I made some paper roses.
I used rolled up newspaper.
I hadn't any idea how to do them. But managed to so make 4, and as you can see I improved by the time I got to number four. I will post on this technique later.
I spray painted the roses.
One of the roses spray painted.
I felt that it still needed something to edge the wire structure.
I spotted some lovely wool I had just bought from a carboot sale.
The idea came to me to crochet a boarder around it. Not too great at crochet, but I thought I would try.
4 hours later I had done three rows.
I could have gone on, but I had had enough.
Crocheted edge
I decided to add buttons. I wired these on. These were so I could hook things on and behind. Like I have displayed.
I fixed the top hooks on the door and then hung the notice board on, I fixed the bottom hooks upsidedown to stop it moving everytime the door opened.
I then stuck the roses over the hooks, with hot melt glue.
I then pushed the curtain prongs through the wire, making sure you put two prongs Infront and two behind. These can go upsidedown to achieve a different way of using them.

Hooks down
I'm pleased with the final outcome.
This could also be used as as a jewellery display board.

Loved how you used the curtian hooks! How clever, i was looking for hooks to hold necklaces, i turned them the other way and used some hot glue on my wire grid to hold them after weaving them onto the bigger wire.

Yes if you look at my notice board some of mine are the other way.

I would love to see what you did. Thanks for comments.

Would you look at that? Most of the hooks are disguised where I need them with roses and other embellishments. Very nice job! ☺️
