Garage Organization

Elbow grease, sorting and discarding, and finding a place for everything left followed with a label is a good start to an organized garage. In this process we "found" things we'd lost as well as got rid of things we'd not used in years. Whew! It feels good!!
Sort, discard things you do not need, and label and straighten what is left.
Make sure all items are off the floor. Hooks and pegboard keep mops, brooms, and garden items off the floor for cleanliness and seldom used items like clotheslines are easily found.
Group similar items in marked boxes. I used cardboard boxes from Sam's Club and spray painted them with chalkboard paint.
Label everything!
Don't forget recycling areas.
Appliances such as garage refrigerators...clean the exterior, behind and inside so you'll know it's all done!
Create your "Before You Go" board for reminders on auto service, hours of waste disposal station, etc.
Future "Recycling" Pegboard. Can't wait to work further on this!!
