I have a two bedroom ranch house with NO basement. I put a 8 x 10 storage shed in my yard for lawn equipment, snowblower & seasonal items. In my small, one car garage I put metal shelving units along my one side wall & in front of my car. On the other side wall is a workbench, refridgerator & another shelving unit. I have just enough room to get my car in.
