The cabinets for my pans are shallow and deep. I'm forever on the floor trying to get what I need. A couple garage sales later, I found a solution that is working for me. Here's what I did:
This is the before photo. I decided to use this space to hang my pots. The door goes into the garage, so I'm not losing anything by covering the window.
I found the fabric and plate rack at a garage sale. First thing I did was I measured the window, added 2" to my figure, and cut it out. I pressed the edges then secured it with stitch witch. I used four thumbtacks to secure it to the door. I then used screws to attach the rack to the door.
Once that was hung, I placed my pots and pans on the rack. All in sight! Now I can find what I need without having to crawl on the floor. Love it!
And the final view! I also hung cherished enamel cookware. It all goes well with my grandma's cart I refurbished.
