Easy Storage for Kitchen Spices

Our kitchen looks really great, and after painting the cabinets and back splash and adding a fan hood, it is now perfect for us. However, like almost everyone, we just felt as if we could do better on storage.
When the doors are closed, things look picture perfect. But behind those doors are some shelves that need some major organizing. One thing that was driving me crazy was our spice cabinet. It was jammed full of spices, and I often couldn't find the one I was looking for during an important part of cooking a meal.
I found this great spice rack in a catalog that came in the mail from the Container Store. I knew it was the solution to my little problem. When it arrived, I removed all of our spices, threw away duplicates, wiped off the ones I kept, and wiped down the shelves. Then my husband attached the shelf with just a few screws.
Now when I need a certain spice, I gently give the spice rack a little tug, and it will drop down. Then I can see all of the spices and select the ones I need.
