Organize Your Spices in a Drawer

Hi everyone! I have a great organizing idea for your spices! I just moved into a new home and had so much more drawer space than I had in my other house and I knew I wanted to use one of the drawers for my spices. I saw this idea over at ehow.com: http://www.ehow.com/how_12343227_make-spice-drawer-organizer.html. It worked out great!
We started out with some very thin pieces of wood. I won't be giving measurements because everybody's drawer will be a different size. Cut the wood the width of the drawer. You will need a few of these pieces, depending on how deep the drawer is. The height of the board will be approximately the height of the jars.
Next you will cut little pieces to give the board some height. Again this will depend on the depth of your drawer. We tried to figure out how much height we could have with the jar on it and still allow the drawer to close. This took some trial and error until we figured it out. Here is the back of the piece. The pieces were nailed together.
This is the very scientific way we measured :).
Here the shelves are from the side, so you can see how the spices sit on each shelf. They don't sit up against the top of another jar, so when you pull one out, it doesn't move other jars around.
And there you go! I love how this turned out and how easy it is to find the spices I want to use.
