If those items were only out of the fridge for an hour or so while you defrosted the fridge I think you would be ok. If there's any doubt in your mind--throw them away!
I've never had any ill effects from re-refridgerating and eating pickles, or jams that were forgotten on the counter the day before. Pickles are floating around in vinegar or salt water; both of which are preservatives. Jams, although full of sugar, also have the fruit acid in them. The acid will keep the jams safe to eat for several days at room temperature. The olives would depend on what they were canned with. Seriously though, who hasn't thrown left-over veggie pizzas in the oven then went back and ate on them for the next two days? Your food should be perfectly fine unless it got extremely hot for several hours or longer.
If your not sure I'd throw away. Its alot better then getting sick from it. The stomach cramps are bad from spoiled food!
how long have they been out of the refrigerator
I always say, "When in doubt, throw it out". It's just not worth getting sick.
only if they were in sealed containers unopened
