Most disorganization results from too much stuff. So the best thing you can do is to purge what you don't use. Box up items that are only used occasionally (holidays) and store in another space.

  • What specifically do you need help with?

In my house (small house, tiny kitchen), I have a drawer that has all the flatware. In another there are the cooking implements. Another has aluminum foil, saran wrap, wax paper parchment paper and all sizes of ziplock bags. The lower cabinets have pots, pans, small appliances, bowls and large serving pieces and tupperware products. The upper cabinets I have the everyday dishes and glassware. Place things in such a manner where you would use them the most and what seems logical to you.

How can we help you further?

Using command hooks you can hang your cooking utensils on the back of cabinet doors for easy reach. If you have a pantry, hang wire racks upside down with a slight tilt, to store canned goods on their sides. One cabinet for cups & glasses near your coffee pot and refrigerator, dishes, pots & pans near the stove. Cleaning products under the sink. Whatever makes your area easier to work in, is what I'd go with. Best of luck.

Mount a pegboard on a wall or inside the pantry door to utilize vertical space.

Declutter everywhere...counters, cabinets, etc. Use baskets and boxes to sort and organize smaller items, group similar items together, organize drawers with bins to keep items in their place. Put utensils in a crock by your stove for easy access.
