Hi Patricia. I'm Cindy. Cut a 2 x 4 to match the length of your spice cabinet. Put it in the back of the cabinet. It will act as a shelf to put some spices up higher than those in front of it. That will make it easier to find the spice you are looking for. Wishing you well Patricia.

or split it into 2" ( actually 1.75" ) wide by the length of a drawer 'slices' and use to divide into rows for the little round jars - anchor on each end with a dab of hot glue to keep in place

-- use a black marker to write the name on the top of the lid, or store on their sides so the label shows -

divide into 'traditional' spices and 'ethnic' spices .... or whatever is traditional for you ...

I have two areas ... one for 'traditional -- garlic, onion, celery, thyme, nutmeg, italian oregano, basil, parsley, (some I dry myself) paprika, pepper, etc., and one for Spanish/Mexican -- Mexican oregano, various chili powders, cinnamon, mexican vanilla, chocolate ... etc. or whatever your 'other' flavor field might be ... middle eastern, northern european, etc.
