I have always used cupboards near the stove for my pots and pans. The cupboards I have now have two drawers between the stove and fridge and that is enough space if I put them in right. I stack pots by size inside each other, same with pans, Lids I put on upside down in the pans where I can, otherwise I keep them near the pans. The pot lids I put in the stock pot for convenience sake since they easily fit inside it.

If there is a door nearby (to a basement or porch) you can utilize that space with readymade wire storage racks or even peg board & hooks.

I have such a door outfitted with a storage unit for light bulbs and cleaning products that don't fit in the kitchen!

    1. Keep the ones you use all the time in the oven. Many people do this with small kitchens.

    2. The rest under the bed in roll out containers. Containers have rollers and start as low as $16 USD.

If you have a space on the wall for a pegboard- its a game changer
