My daughter recently had a small apartment and kept many of her smaller items in one of those small drawer units that you can buy at places like Walmart. She already had it in her closet for belts, etc. and repurposed it. She could then tuck it under the table if needed, as it was on wheels. Before we enlarged our kitchen, I used a bakers rack that I picked up inexpensively to keep my microwave and canisters. Hope you get lots of good suggestions!
Dollar stores have plenty of budget friendly containers, for instant, use a square container to store small package items (oatmeal, cereal bars, etc)
Do you have space on top of the cupboards? If you do you could put seldom used items in pretty wicker, wood of fabric baskets and store them up there.
I love this one thanks
You can also try some floating shelves high up, to keep things that you don't use regularly out of your storage space
