      Depending on what it is...if i haven't used it /worn it in a year it goes to goodwill or, a friend whom I ask if they need/want ...if it was a really expensive item and it's in excellent condition I may list for sale.

    Agree, put away what you don't use every day. Then use shallow trays, turntable, and baskets to corral oils, salt & Pepper, breads, pens, phones, notepads. Group like items together and next to the spot where they will be used.

    put them in a pantry/closet/cupboard -- they'll be there when you need them!
