If you're anything like me, one - you open your spice drawer multiple times a day and two - you love to organize. What better way to make your organizational heart happy than to organize your spice drawer!?

I ordered only a few things from Amazon for this project and it only cost me about $25 for just the spice organization!

Before -not too terrible, but could be better

Before of my cooking/baking supply cabinet.

Step One - Take everything out

I cleaned out my drawer and started fresh. This liner is a great way to keep spices from moving around and to keep the inside of your drawer clean! I got this as a wedding registry gift and love it!

Step Two - Switch over spices to new containers

What you'll need - spices + funnel + new containers!

I did hand wash everything before starting just to make sure everything was clean and sanitary.

I had a couple glass containers that I just took the original label off and just made a new label for so it would all look cohesive.

Tip - a regular, basic spice container lid fits the bottles to the new ones. I used some of the original lids that had bigger holes for bigger piece spices such as red pepper flakes or steak seasoning.

The pack of 12 spice containers do come with labels that stick on the top of the lid or on the side of the bottle. I decided to opt out of using those and went with making my own label. I prefer the look of the labels from the label maker over the included labels.

Step Three - Label

I did label as I went so I wouldn't get anything confused. You can make sure you have everything spelled correctly too!

I love to organize and label things, I can't believe I went so long without a label maker! For only $10 this one is a steal. I'm going to label everything I can get my hands on!

Step Four - Enjoy!

I absolutely LOVE the way this turned out! I open this drawer multiple times a day, why not make it exciting and something pretty to look at?!

I loved my new spice containers so much I decided to do some containers for other regularly used items.
