A jar without a lid is the perfect container for cotton balls, topped off with a votive holder filled with cotton swabs.
Use a lightweight hammer to tap an awl into the jar lid. Repeate
this step to create as many holes as you need. Fill the jar with baking soda and sprinkle wherever you need to deodorize or scrub.
Add a wire hanger to create a hanging vase or luminarie.

To make the hanger:

  • form a loop at one end of the wire
  • wrap the wire once all the around the mouth of the jar, and slip through the loop
  • bring the wire up and over the jar to form a hanger
  • slip the end of the wire under the wire around the mouth of the jar to form a knot.
