I love being able to store my crafty supplies in a easy yet beautiful way. I craft all the time why not make my crafty supplies look good too? See how to turned some simple Ikea tins into some really cute crafty storage.
Start with a pair of little tins from Ikea, they are called Socker, but really any cute tin will to the job! I started by painting the outside with a little bit of white and pink paints to make them a little more rustic.
I then took round burlap shapes and using iron on letters labeled them with the contents of the jars. One i labeled "PEN" and the other "TOOL" - i left off the "S" on both since it wold not fit - the words were too long.
I added in layers of fun textured trims such as burlap, twine, mesh, and diamond mesh trims around the center of each tin and added a few pretty flowers in the top corner right above where the round burlap label rested.
So now i have a cute little pair of tins a decorated up pretty perfect for holding my crafty pens and tools that sit right non my craft desk. Why not spruce up your crafting space with a little pretty tin?!?!
