Blue Jean Hanging Organizer (Travel Inspired)

Using an old pair of blue jeans and a travel inspired stencil, I made a hanging organizer that can be tucked into a suit case for easy organization while on a trip or used at home.
This organizer is pretty helpful for keeping table tops clear of clutter while using up vertical space for storage.
First step was to stitch the legs together, then to stitch across the pant legs to create pockets.
Next I used a stencil purchased from Michaels that had a travel motif.
Next I cut just below the stitching to create the pockets.
Then I cut holes in the top for the hangers. I wrapped washi tape around the hangers, too.

Four of us girls took a trip to Nashville last spring. I took this organizer with on our trip. We hung it in the room and it really helped to keep the room de-cluttered, what with all the different hairsprays, shampoos, and girlie whatnots!! :)
