SOMETHING FOR THE KITCHEN

I did this Project because my shopping bags tend to get unruly. And sometimes I have way too many of them. So I thought this container would be nice looking for keeping them stored in and out of sight. And I had a few of these plastic containers already in the house. So I bought some paint and got busy making this storage container.

This is all the supplies I needed to get started on this project. I thought this would be a awesome idea, because having shopping bags everywhere drives me crazy. This project was an easy inexpensive solution, to store shopping bags neatly.
This was the process of painting the plastic container. First I put some 3M painters tape around the threaded area, this would make it so the lid would screw on properly and easy. Then I painted the container and the lid with spray paint. The plastic container I painted Teal, and the Lid I painted black. This would give it some eye appeal, being two different colors.
This was the process of cutting the opening in the lid, so I would be able to pull the bags through the opening. I cut the opening with a razor knife, being very careful, so I didn't cut myself. Then I filed the edges of the opening, so the plastic wasn't sharp or jagged. Jagged edges on the plastic opening would probably cut the bags. I traced the letters on the container with sharpie marker. Then I painted the letters on with Americana craft paint.
THIS IS THE FINISHED PRODUCT
