This project is brought to you by Mr. Lewicki, who came to me one day and said, “I have a project for you!” He wanted to ditch the liquor bottles in his mini-bar for ‘prettier’ ones (my word, not his lol) and couldn’t find any labeled decanters online he liked. This is when it pays to have a DIY savvy wife. 😏 Now; I’ve never really heard of pretty booze bottles til now, but Imma make it a thing because these DIY decanters look so chic and are super easy to make!

What You’ll Need:

  • Glass Decanter(s)
  • Liquor Decanter tags (I bought Copper but also comes in Nickel)
  • Long Nose Pliers
  • Epoxy Glue

How To:

Step 1: If you buy the tags I used, they come with these chains. I removed the chains from the tags with some pliers by carefully prying open the two chain links. These tags are made of metal and are super durable, so you don’t have to worry about them bending.

Step 2: Mix your epoxy according to the instructions. Mine came with a mixer stick and I mixed the two solutions right in the packaging it came in. Super easy!

Step 3: Using your mixer stick, apply a thin layer of the combined epoxy to the back of your tag(s).

+PRO TIP: Avoid putting glue too close to the edge of the tag so it doesn’t overspill when you apply it to your bottle. This stuff is strong! A little goes a long way — I promise.

Step 4: With your glass decanter laying flat, apply your tag and let ‘er dry for a few hours. That’s it!

A super easy way to make your home bar look high end by ditching the ugly bottles! I’ll cheers to that! 🥂
