I love figuring out ways to organize that don't cost a lot of money but instead use every day items that we already have lying around our house! Here are some of the items that we use to stay organized on the cheap. Hopefully they can inspire you and give you some fresh ideas!
Boxes are one of my favorite things to use to help organize our space. They come in so many shapes and sized that you can use them for almost anything! The box in the picture above helped keep our kids coloring books organized. We were so tired of them falling all over the place and it did the trick perfectly!
Baskets are another of my favorite organization tools! Here I used one to keep all of the lids for food storage containers neatly corralled.
Put those empty food containers to good use and organize pens/pencils, markers, dry dressing mix packets and more!
We use baby wipes containers for all sorts of things! Here they helped organize some of the toiletry stockpile that I got for free thanks to coupons.

Dairy containers--sour cream, yogurt, cottage cheese. Stick the empty ones in your dishwasher, top shelf, along with the lids. They're good for mixing almost anything (chalk paint, acrylics, etc) or storing kitchen grease. With the lid, the grease can go into the fridge (or under the sink, depends on the temp) until trash day, then toss it in.

Yes, I do these things too! Those containers have SO many great uses. I also like putting fat that I trim off of me at etc. in them before putting it in the garbage. It helps keep it from getting so gross and keeps animals from getting into our garbage once we put it outside as quickly too.

I reuse baby wipe containers. We have them holding crayons, markers, small toys....... And they last forever! Great ideas everyone, Thanks so much!
