Handy Container

I wanted a non-glass counter top container to hold bread crumbs which I buy in bulk from Costco.
after cleaning and scuffing the cookie tin I taped inside the lid and the top of the tin then I sprayed it with several coats of Ivory bisque semi-gloss and let dry overnight.
I googled 'vintage bread clip art' reversed the image and printed it on my laser printer then I did a mod podge transfer
an old cabinet door pull makes it easier to lift the lid
reinforced so the tin won't bow with use
bread crumbs on the counter that don't need brushing off
