Three Ways to Organize & Display Kids' Artwork

With back to school right around the corner, now is a good time to get organized to make it a smooth transition. One of the challenges we face as parents of young kids is what to do with all of that artwork they bring home from school. Here are three quick and easy ways to organize and store kid's art - each project just takes five minutes.
Let's start with two fun ways to display kids' art. My son's room is decorated with a menswear theme, so I used men's pant hangers to create art display boards for his room.
We hung three of these display boards on the wall of his bedroom, and it makes him so proud to have some of his very own artwork in his own space!
The full tutorial for these men's pant hanger art display boards can be found on my blog at the link below.

I also created a second set of art display boards for our playroom. Our under stair playroom is a long, thin space with small square footage. As a result, we made the most of the wall space by creating a gallery wall that serves both art and function - including four art display boards to allow the kids to show off their own creativity in the space.
To go along with the music theme of the playroom, I used different colors of brightly colored sheet music as the backdrop for each art display board, but these can be easily customized to fit your space.

I love displaying my sons' artwork in our home, but they create much more art than I am can display at any one time.

I have a long term plan for preserving some of our favorite pieces of art, but in the meantime, I needed a way to safely store all their masterpieces. The solution I came up with ensures that the precious artwork inside will stay safe in acid free, archival quality storage. My storage solution also stacks easily stack, making them easy to store on a shelf.
You'll find all the details regarding these archival quality art storage boxes on my blog at the link below.

This is so cute! How old is your son? I'm so going to do this when my son gets older and comes home with artwork.
