How do I tame my out of control charging and other cables?
I am overwhelmed and frustrated with the number of cell/tablet charging cables, computer/printer cords, reading/project lights, etc., plus multi-outlets extension units in one area of my dining area where I spend most of my time, day and night (my Mom's Cave, so to speak). Has anyone figured out a relatively easy system to control all the various cables/cords so they aren't tripping hazards or rats' nests and impossible to identify? Has someone built some kind of cable/cord management center? Thanks!

go to search on Hometalk and you will get lots of ideas.
Totally simple. Lable each and every cord. There is a plethora of cable management systems available almost everywhere. Any office office supply store is a great place to start. While you are there, pick up a basic label maker if you don't already have one. If you have room, turn a basic 2 drawer file cabinet into a charging station. Top drawer holds the items to be charged, cords fed through holes drilled in the back and labeled. Bottom holds phone books, paper, pens, pencils, rulers, scissors, etc. Just a matter of proper organization. Take the time to it right once and you will never fret again.
