Reevaluate your shoes to make for a prettier closet !

  • Yup, I hear you! I easily have that many, plus at least 100 hats, scarves, purses, etc.

There is no "easy" way, you just need to move them so the installers have the space they need to install correctly. If you are in a house, lay out a tarp in the back yard, patio or deck and move them there. Replace as soon as you have access to the closet again.

I would get a large box to place the shoe boxes in them and move the large box with hand trucks.

If there are any that you don't wear anymore, you need to weed them out. DSW loves donations of gently used shoes for the needy that can't afford them. I put mine in the clear shoeboxes if they fit, the rest go into the small under the bed boxes. The best way to move them all would be to put them into big boxes so that you have all of them in one place while you recarpet the closet and will be easier to put back into the closet.

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚, I separate mine winter/ summer. Box up the season not in use. Store them in garage, basement, attic... donate, sell what you donโ€™t wear. Other than that just get in there and grab an armfull at a time.
