I found this solid wood shoe shine kit at the take it or leave it site. After a good scrubbing, I mixed up some Old Fashioned Milk Paint in buttermilk color. With it, I was able to relove this worn orangey wood piece into a shabby chic piece of art that can be used to multiple storage ideas..
