Small Puzzle Container & Mat Upcycle

This little puzzle mat has quite a few detailed photos which you can see on my post itself . I'll show the basics here. MORE PHOTOS HERE
SUPPLIES


Sturdy paper towel tube


Paper egg carton


12 x 18 felt sheet (soft type)


String


Ribbon


Hot glue gun


Paint


Mini puzzle Completed size no more than 10.5x 11
Gather your supplies
Make sure your puzzle fits.
Create your end caps.
Glue in one side.
The other side will be tied on for the open end.
Attach a ribbon loop to open the top end.
Measure your felt and glue it around the tube so the tube is covered.
Use ribbon glued on to tie it up. MORE PHOTOS HERE

    Very clever idea! I'm going to pin this one for my grandchildren that live in another country and only get home (here) every 2 years or so. They can't take much back with them because they do a LOT of shopping here. This would make a great "goodbye" gift that won't take up much room in the luggage!

      I'm not sure what you mean. This is another Hometalk member's idea to store puzzle pieces. I was commenting that I liked the idea and why. I don't see any picture in her project, just the puzzle, an egg carton, felt, ribbon & a cardboard tube.
