Candle Holders to Solar Holders

I ran across these candle holders at a garage sale and I knew just what I was going to do with them - make them into solar holders! I have made a solarabra in the past and when I found these candle holders I knew they would go with it! They add such wonderful ambient lighting to our patio.

First I used Rustoleum silver spray paint I had on hand, sprayed them, and let them dry for 24 hours.
Here is what they looked like while drying.
Since I had 3 candle holders, I used 3 solar lights.
I pulled the the solar light off of each of the stems. I will need to come up with a fun project for all the solar stems I have collected - any ideas? Maybe wind chimes?
Using silicone I glued the solar light into each of the 3 candle holders.
You'll want to let the silicone dry completely before using - about 24 hours.
Here is a picture of what they will look like when they are lit up.
Last year I made a solarabra and I knew these new candle holders would go well with it.

Here they both are on my patio. We love them! They add such wonderful ambient lighting to our patio.

Since the silicone is used as the adhesive to attatch the solar lights, how do you replace the solar lights when they burn out?
