DIY Herb Garden Pots

There is just something so fun about herb gardens, don't you think? There are an infinite number of ways to display your herbs, but this year I thought I would go simple by using dressed up terracotta pots.

First I painted them with Fusion Mineral paint aptly named Picket Fence.

While that was drying, I used my Cricut machine to cut out labels naming the herbs I wanted to use. (If you don't have a Cricut machine, you can skip this step and just stencil the lettering on after your pot is painted.)

I applied the removable vinyl lettering onto the center of the pot and then painted the pots again with blue chalkboard paint that I had on hand.

Once it was dry, I peeled the lettering off to reveal the white underneath. I also wrapped the pots with twine, using a few drops of hot glue to keep that in place. I love the twine detail, what do you think?
