How I Made My Daughters Playhouse ONE of a Kind
Last month I painted my daughters playground to match our house! Now it's time to make it a one of a kind little home of the bean
Here are the items I used to make it happen!
I started by using the sold wall of the house as a black board and painted it with chalk board paint.
I found these little wooden boxes at Michael's Craft store and thought they would be the perfect holders for the chalk. First I drilled a hole on the bottom so that water wouldn't collect and then screwed them in between the windows in a triangle pattern.
Then I got some outdoor pillows and a floor mat as a "rug".
Next, I strung up some solar lights I found on Amazon around the eves of the mini home.
I thought the flower basket added a real homey feel! The handle for this basket was just hooked around the metal O so I was able to undo it with plyers and put it back on weaved around the window.
Finally, I used this hanging basket that I hooked around the windows and this welcome bell which I also found at Michael's! My daughter is a big fan of the bell :)
Day or night, this is the place to be at :)
Now we can lay in her mini home and watch a movie on her tablet for summer nights. It is really quiet cozy in there, I almost fell asleep one night!

Now this is soooo cool! I love the tube underneath. I have a wooden climber type thingy in my backyard for my grandsons. Not as big and elaborate as yours. It has a sandbox underneath. I'd like to figure out a way to have some kind of crawling tube rigged to the structure. I bet your daughter adores her playhouse and making wonderful memories. Well done.
