Measure and cut your wood

With a 4x4, cut five cubes at 3.5 inches. We used 4x4 leftover from another project, but you can buy 8-foot pieces for cheap at hardware stores. You need a total of 18 inches to make the five cubes. Sand and stain your dice

Sand each corner and smooth each side - ESPECIALLY the cut sides! This will make staining much easier. We used stain in the color Early American.Add dots

Either use a circular brush, or a stencil (which we used) to paint your dots. Make sure each opposite side adds up to seven - i.e. 1 opposite the 6, 2 opposite the 5, 3 opposite the 4.Add sealer, and you're done!
