What is the best way to hang lights around the patio?

I want to hang twinkle lights on the walls of 2 sides of the patio.

    You can use command hooks for outdoor use.

    Zip ties work. You can cut off the excess with scissors, they are cheap at the dollar stores. you don't need heavy duty ones the thin ones will work. at the end of the season you can either leave them on if you leave up your structure or cut the ties off and take down the lights at the end of season. You can even buy the twinkle lights in the plastic tubing if you have not already bought lights. or you can simply take lengths of material and tie them up or yard string.

    two side of the patio have no wall. i was thinking a tall plant hanger or pvc?

    Tree branches, gazebo, or put some wood poles in flower pots and string garden twine or fishing line structure f from o e people to another. Or even easier... make long stakes from wood or when broken hockey stick handles or broom sticks Pou ded direct into the ground. My neighbor used the hockey sticks painted them then instead of twine used the extention could then attached the lights to that.
