Decoupage Pot
Decopague...white glue mixed with a little water, paint brush and lay your picture on the side of pot. Paint on glue mixture, let dry and repeat. OR, glue sea shells, moss or craft store stones on pot. Have FUN!
Hi Joy. Put some Elmer's white glue in a cup. Add a tiny bit of water and mix well. Using a sponge brush apply some glue on the flower pot. Take a paper napkin apart. You only want to use the top layer. Carefully place the napkin on the pot. Then apply more glue on top of the napkin. Some people like to tear the napkin all around the subject matter. It's a personal choice. Good luck with this project.
Can use the glue and water method above or use mod podge with top layer of napkin. Layer mod podge, top layer of napkin and then cover with mod podge again. Varnish when done to make weather proof if using outdoors.
I would paint the pot first to make your chosen image to stand out first. Acrylic paint works well. Then do as others have advised with modgepodge podge. If it's going outside, you will need to seal with varnish.
