Do you have chairs or loungers in your garden space? Decorate with outdoor pillows that have some pretty spring colors. Use a couple of potted plants around the garden area that have bright colors. Keep the pots the same color though. If you can bring in an outdoor bar height table, use a candle with a coordinated color or a runner across the top that has some pretty spring colors. Use colored wine glasses on your bar pub table. And finally, find a nearby tree to your garden that you can add some lights(Christmas lights or outdoor patio lights) All of these things can be done to make a party in your garden look amazing.
How small the garden space (dimensions)? Do you have a cement patio? Is this just a space with planters? Please provide some more info so we can provide a good answer.
Hi Donna, K had lots of great ideas and I second all she said, although I would use a variety of colored pots for the plants. The same plant can look quite different in various colored pots. A lot of greenery will make the outdoor area come to life. You might add two or three large pots with a trellis to get a vine started to bring some height & color to your small outdoor area. Striped fabric in happy colors will add to your enjoyment. Don't be afraid to mix and match designs. A colorful rug can serve as the base of the design you decide upon. Have fun with it and your ideas will start flowing as you work through the process of adding additional items. You can often find colorful plastic platters pitchers, etc. that are easy to change out for the area.
