Concrete stones won't last and would be way to heavy to adhere on a wall. Cheaper to buy faux stone veneer or stone panels. Factory made stone and panels are lightweight and made for that purpose..
Faux stones because of weight. And, they last a long time
Your best bet would either be faux panels or scavenge for stones and lay them. This was very popular in our area at some point. There are a lot of older homes (pre-1950's) that have this type of exterior.
Chicken wire stuff and apply concrete to outside ?
Hi Terri, You did not provide enough info or even pictures of your wall. Depending on what your wall on the house is made of, I would go with the faux stone as most mentioned. But you need info if this is a DIY project and Google is our friend or go to your local stone merchant for info. If you have an exposed cellar wall, you can apply concrete to it and then make your design. you can Google this information. As with anything that you want to last or come out wonderfully, prep is most important. Good luck.
