How do I mount a mailbox?
I have an older mobile home and need to mount a mailbox however not sure how to do this as it has metal siding. Needs to be by the door for the post office to deliver my mail. Didn't seem like a good idea to usee screw in the siding.

It's ok, I do it all the time. Use rubber washers against the siding.
Hi Nance this may help, I don't think you need to worry too much about mounting to metal other than using a sealer like silicone to prevent leaks at the point where the screws go in

Do you have a wooden railing and porch? You can attach it to the railing .
As Marylou suggested, you can attach a mailbox to a wood railing, but if you have a metal railing: I was able to attach a mailbox to a metal railing by using two pieces of wood, screwed tightly together, one on each side of the railing, then screwing the mailbox to the wood.
