It's flower time in our area!

Finally beautiful weather that makes me want to get out there and plant flowers in everything I can find.

Today I'm using an old frame, a wire basket, and some beautiful petunias for a planter I can hang on my fence.

You won't believe how easy it was to make!

Here are the supplies I used for this project...

An old wooden frame, a wire basket, 2 small pulls, and an old welcome sign I made way back.

Really, there was nothing to this project.

I placed the basket at the bottom of the frame.

Then I used the drawer pulls to attach the basket handles to the inside of the frame.

I grabbed an old welcome sign I had made years ago and attached it with small nails to the top of the frame.

And that is it!

I hung it on my fence using this easy to find hanger.

I filled the basket with landscape fabric then added beautiful purple petunias!

How gorgeous are these petunias! 💜

This planter couldn't have been easier to make from thrift store finds!
