Spray Painting Outdoor Lights

Every day I would walk up to our front door and be welcomed by ugly, rust-colored outdoor lights. Ugh! That's not what I want to welcome me or my guests home! Instead of replacing the lights I decided to update them with a $4 can of spray paint in just a couple of minutes. No need to even take down the lights. It's a huge transformation to our exterior lights that I love!
Oh, and you're going to want to look at all these pictures carefully. There is a certain photo bomber peeking through the glass panes! You're not going to want to miss that adorableness!
Before - rusty red lights that aren't my style.
Tape around the light fixtures to protect the brick. Remember to put up enough protection for over spray!
All it takes is a quick, light spray.
The finished product!
It goes great with the newly painted shutters.
Do you see the photo bomber?
A nice, new finished look.
Looks like it was made this way!
