Planter Box Update
My fiends gave me a couple of these planters but I didn’t like the colour as it didn’t match my garden so I got out the fence paint and started to paint them!!
and use this one for my water fountain to sit on!
Here was before I painted them
Here’s the paint I used - I couldn’t get the Cuprinol one I usually use!!! So I had to settle for ronseal
I always use a tuber ware box to pour the paint into and use my roller from the tub
I sat it on some bricks so I could get right to the bottom of the legs
The first of many coats
Second coat done - as you can see it will definitely need another coat!
Third coat done and still needs another coat!!! Just for full coverage
The forth and final coat seemed to cover it so much better!!!
And here it is - finished - 4 coats later and the water feature sits on top - eventually the hubby wants a rockery for the fountain to sit on but for now this will do fine!
