1. Prepare the Table

First, remove the glass top from your patio table and set it aside.

2. Choose and Clean the Shower Curtain

Head to your local dollar store and pick up a shower curtain with a pattern you like.

3. Clean the Glass Top

Next, take the glass top and clean it thoroughly. Wipe off any dust or debris to ensure a smooth surface for the Mod Podge and shower curtain.

4. Apply Mod Podge to the Glass

Lay the glass top on a flat surface and apply a generous, even layer of matte Mod Podge over it.


Make sure the entire surface is covered to ensure the shower curtain adheres properly.

5. Attach the Shower Curtain

Carefully lay the shower curtain over the glass, smoothing it out from the center to the edges with your hands.

Use a plastic scraper to remove any air bubbles and ensure the curtain is pressed firmly onto the glass.

6. Let It Dry

Flip the glass over onto the shower curtain and let it dry completely.

7. Trim the Excess

Once the Mod Podge is fully dry, use an X-Acto knife to trim off any excess shower curtain hanging over the edges.

8. Seal the Surface

Apply another coat of Mod Podge over the top of the shower curtain to seal it in and protect the surface.


Allow this coat to dry completely before handling the glass.

9. Reassemble the Table

Once everything is dry, replace the glass top into the base of your patio table. Your table is now complete and ready to use!
