Update an Old Serving Cart With Contact Paper

60 Minutes
Easy
Do you remember the faux wood-grain serving carts from the 1970's? You know them when you see them. They're typically found in a sad shade of gold + brown hiding in a corner of the thrift store. These carts have an unlimited potential for use, but their outdated exteriors make them easy to pass over.
In just an hour I had this cart disassembled, cleaned, and repapered. I love how the paper gave this cart a bit of glam while mixing in little attitude at the same time.
