All Natural Garden Markers
After trimming a few branches, I made these easy natural garden markers for my herb garden and it didn't cost me a cent!
I love planting fresh herbs in my garden planter each year. The smell is heavenly and they are convenient for grabbing when we are cooking.
I used branches from the trees we had recently prooned.
I cut the branches to size. They are about 7 to 8 inches each. Then, I cut one end at an angle. I used a 215 degree angle for most of my markers to give enough room to write.
I used a black, fine tip, Sharpie to write the name of the herb on the angled end of each stick. You could use any color to do this and customize your markers for to your taste.
They are all a little different size and look wise. I think it adds to the organic look of the markers.
Then, I planted my herbs in my raised bed and added each marker to label the herbs. I love how natural and organic they are. Tje best part was that they didn't cost a dime!
