Bird House Painted for Fairy Garden

by Joan Triplett
This is my first posting for HomeTalk Gardening. I am an avid lover of flower gardening. My cousin, Rhonda Gordon helped me create these bird houses for use in my Fairy Garden. An ongoing work in progress. Rhonda painted the beautiful flowers on the houses.
Hand painted for Fairy Garden
These houses were purchased ready-made at AC Moore Crafts.
We painted them and sealed with a clear sealer.
They will be attached to wooden stands or stumps which will also be covered in painted vines and flowers.
After they are tucked into the flower garden we will add fairies, elves and other garden folk. More pictures to follow.
Fairy village with the first addition.
I believe any Fairy would love living here.

I love digging in the dirt and seeing things grow. Looking forward to sharing more as my garden progresses. It has been really hot and dry this summer, but the last couple of weeks have been better. Heat and humidity lower and some good rain. I once lived in Tampa. Boy....talk about humid.
