We all love those garden ornaments, but they can be pretty expensive anywhere you look. Here at TGG we decided to make our own DIY concrete garden globes, and it turned out to be a fun and pretty rewarding project that cost less than $15 for three balls. We also tried out a couple different recipes, including a hypertufa mixture… For our final globes, we used recipe 2, a good compromise between a little organic without being too rustic. Old glass lamp globes found at our local thrift store. These were our molds. They work great!

    What recipe did you follow? What amounts of peat, concrete, moss?

    I was going thru your posts of the many ways you can use light fixture globes and I love it. I wanted to print some of them to put in my craft files but for whatever reason it won't print. I also wanted to email them to myself but I didn't see what I could do that. I don't have outlook so can't use it. Gmail seems to work. PLEASE HELP Dona H

    on the concrete globes you had to break the glass globes off after they were dry..right?don't understand what was mixed in to male the little black spots on them i love the idea,thank you
