DIY Herb Garden Markers

Since it's still to early to get gardening outdoors in my area, I decided to start a windowsill herb garden.
It was completely inspired by these little wood slice tags I found in Hobby Lobby. I thought they would make the cutest little herb garden markers.
I had a planter that I saved from last year, that is perfectly sized to fit on my windowsill. I picked up 3 herb plants at my local nursery and arranged them in the planter.
For the herb markers, I simply labeled them with a marker. I hot glued the twine to a stick, that I then inserted into the dirt to keep them stable.
I keep the herbs on my family room windowsill, because it gets full sun most of the day. It's been three weeks now and they are thriving. They are actually doing better than when I plant them outdoors! I am currently having a giveaway on my blog-you can enter to win a set of steel herb garden markers until Monday, Mar. 14. Good Luck!
