I love repurposing lamp parts, the possibilities are endless! Most of my very favorite projects at Homeroad are created from metal and lamp parts.
I began this project with a pile of antique broken lamp parts. I bought them at an outdoor yard sale for $1. for the lot.

The first step in creating something new is to completely take apart all the pieces and start fresh. I pile up all the pieces then start the building process.
I attached one of the larger pieces that used to hold an inverted glass globe when this was a light fixture, to a thrifted pillar candle stick.
I put the piece in my spray paint shelter for a quick one coat spray of my favorite textured spray paint, I use it on all my outdoor patio projects.

My creation sits on top of a Lazy Susan so I can turn it while spray painting and get the perfect paint coverage on every side.
